Hey everyone! The notifications sent out about the student handbook link are LEGIT! Please check on it and click on the link to acknowledge the parental receipt of the student handbook!

Just a reminder if you have not registered your student(s) for the 23-24 school year you need to do so ASAP. Registration needs to be completed for ALL students, returning or new. This lets us know who is returning, leaving, free and reduced status and also who will need bus transportation. We need to make sure the addresses, phone numbers and emails are updated as well, so we can contact you if the need arises. We will be using the Infinite Campus System to send out correspondences so it is VERY IMPORTANT that personal information is updated yearly. If you need help with this process please come to the school and one of the secretaries will be happy to help If you have any questions please contact the school offices.

Hello to all 7th and 8th Grade Students and Parents/Guardians: School will begin on August 23 at 8:30 Schedules will be available on Infinite Campus (7th graders will be handed a schedule during orientation) All students will need PE clothes on the first day 7th Grade and New Student Orientation will be held on August 22 at 5:30 in the High School Auditorium Students will be introduced to the JH staff and School wide Expectations for the upcoming school year Technology information will also be shared at this time. We recommend that both student and parent attend the orientation so paperwork can be signed. The signed paperwork will allow for students to get their computer on the first day of school. You are welcome to bring all of your school supplies at this time to leave in your locker JH Athletics will begin on August 23rd at 3:30. Make sure you have your clothes and shoes Volleyball will begin practice in the elementary gym Football will have a meeting and equipment will be passed out Cross Country will begin practice All student athletes will need a physical to be able to participate. BKBK has once again have graciously decided to purchase activity passes for K-12 Students at BK. If you would be interested in receiving one of these passes so your student can attend school activities for free you will need to complete the following steps: 1. Parents will need to go to one of the school offices (elementary or jr/sr high) during school hours (office hours week of Aug 7 are 8:00-3:00 and then the week of Aug 14 8:00-4:00) 2. There will be an agreement to be signed by both the parent and the student (grades 3-12) If the student is not present they will need to sign before receiving a pass 3. The student will then be given a pass on the first day of school 4. The student will need to have the pass with them at all activities to be able to attend that activity for free. (No student will be allowed to attend for free if they do not have their pass in hand or paying at the gate) a. Passes will not work for any post season games b. The pass will not work for admission to the School Musical in November 5. This pass can be revoked from any student at anytime the student is not following the rules set forth by the signed agreement If you have any questions please contact one of the school offices

Reminder the Iowa Speciality Mobile Clinic will be at the Belmond-Klemme High School on Tuesday, August 8th from 12-5 pm. The attachment contains more details regarding the Mobile Clinic for Athletic Physicals. All athletes will need an up to date physical before they are allowed to practice. This includes any athlete grades 7-12. (Football, Cross Country, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Basketball, Wrestling, Track, Soccer, Baseball, Softball)
