The boys golf meet scheduled for today (4/21) in Garner has been postponed. A new date will be announced at a later time.  The boys golf meet scheduled for tomorrow (4/22) in Algona has been canceled. This meet will not be rescheduled. 

The track meet scheduled for today (4/21) at Belmond-Klemme has been cancelled. This meet will not be made up. 

The Boys soccer game in Humboldt scheduled for today (4/20) has been postponed for today. A makeup date will be announced at a later time.

The Girls HS Soccer game scheduled for today (4/20) with Humboldt has been postponed until 5/4, in Belmond starting at 7:00 pm.

The HS boys track meet scheduled for today (4/20) at BCLUW has been cancelled. This meet will not be rescheduled. The HS Girls Golf meet scheduled for today (4/20) at North Union (Bancroft) has been postponed.

The JH Boys Track Meet scheduled for today (4/20) at West Hancock has been Cancelled. This meet will not be rescheduled.

The HS Boys track meet scheduled for today (4/17) in Hampton has been canceled. This meet will not be rescheduled.

BELMOND-KLEMME SCHOOLS INTO LOCK-OUT BELMOND, Iowa—At approximately 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday afternoon, April 12, 2023, the Wright County Sheriff’s Department advised Belmond-Klemme Schools to go into a Lock-out. A suspect was fleeing the authorities in the immediate area of Belmond-Klemme Schools. The schools were placed into a Lock-out out of an abundance of caution. At no time was there an imminent threat to the school or anyone in or near it. Belmond-Klemme Schools went into a Lock-out immediately upon the guidance of the Sheriff’s Department. A Lock-out is an emergency procedure where all school doors are locked and no one is allowed to enter or leave the school until the Lock-out is lifted. Internally, schools operate normally while under a Lock-out. The suspect was quickly apprehended by Wright County Deputies. Belmond-Klemme Schools were in Lock-out for less than 15 minutes. Belmond-Klemme Schools is grateful to local law enforcement for the protection they provide.

The boys track meet in Eagle Grove has been cancelled for tonight (4/4).

All evening practices, weights, and activities have been cancelled for tonight, due to impending weather.

The soccer game scheduled for today (3/31) with Aplington-Parkersburg has been postponed until 4/18. The game will be played in Aplington starting at 7:00 pm.

The game start time for the soccer games in Hampton today (3/30) have been changed to 5:00 pm for girls and boys to follow

BK school buses will run on hard surface roads only until further notice. Bus schedules attached.

Belmond-Klemme school buses will run on hard-surfaced roads only starting tomorrow morning, Tuesday, February 28, 2023, and continuing likely through the end of this week. Gravel roads are extremely soft, and our buses are destroying the roads. #BKBroncos
