Volunteers NEEDED for JH track tomorrow 5/3. We have multiple field events that need to be covered. This event cannot happen without your help. Please consider helping in concession stand as well. Reach out to Krista Carlson or James Severson to get signed up.

A few announcements from BK 7-12 & Jacobson Elementary! [Belmond-Klemme Jr/Sr High School ] There will be "open mat" in the wrestling room from 3:45-5 or so on Tuesdays and Thursdays until May 24. Anyone that has thought about going out or wants to find out more please come. Please come dressed in a t-shirt that is appropriate, shorts or sweatpants, tennis shoes are ok for this time, they just need to be tied and clean. Coach Butler will be watching over but can't coach in the off season so Joslyn and Bryson are helping. See one of us for questions. If you are out for a spring sport you will have to wait until this summer. [ Richard O. Jacobson Elementary ] Students going into grades 4-7 are invited to participate in "Dramapalooza" Day Camp. Jacobson Elementary ] Youth Tackle Football - information for YSF football may be found in the elementary office. Register for FALL 2022 YSF tackle football if you will have a 5th or 6th grader in the fall of 2022! [ Belmond-Klemme Jr/Sr High School ] SILVER CORD - If you are planning to submit 50 hours of community service for a silver cord for graduation, your deadline to turn them in is Friday, May 13th. [ Richard O. Jacobson Elementary ] Sunday, May 15 Family Dance Party from 1:00pm - 3:30pm in the Jacobson Lunchroom [ Richard O. Jacobson Elementary ] The Elementary Track and Field Day will be held on Tuesday, May 24th with a rain date of Wednesday, May 25th!

There is no golf meet today 5/2 in West Hancock. There will be a golf meet scheduled with West Hancock tomorrow 5/3.

The HS boys golf tournament scheduled for 4/30 in West Hancock has been cancelled.

The B/G golf meet scheduled for 4/29 at Garner has been canceled, there is no make up date for this event.

Volunteers Needed: JH boys track will be hosting a meet tomorrow 4/26. We are in desperate need of volunteers to help run field events. If you are available, please reach out to James Severson or Krista Carlson to get signed up.

The HS Girls soccer game scheduled with Hampton on 4/22 has been canceled. The HS Boys soccer game scheduled with Hampton will still be played starting at 5:30 PM in Hampton.

Announcements! High School students. You can volunteer this Friday for the concession stand and it will count towards silver cord time. Please see Krista Carlson for details. There will be no parking tomorrow in the gravel by the football field on Friday, April 22. Any boy 9th through 12 grade interested in playing baseball there will be a parent/player meeting 530pm Sunday at the field in Eagle Grove, if bad weather we will move it into the EG high school gym. There will be pitching and catching practice for 3rd - 7th grader on Sunday, April 24th from 1:00 - 1:30 pm at the City Field. (BCBC) Seniors, please check your emails daily for information and details that may be sent out regarding graduation. Volunteers Needed: BK Schools need help with running the remaining track meets for the year. Meets dates are 4/22, 4/26, & 5/3. Varsity Girls Track at GHV has been canceled for tonight April 19

The start time for HS girls soccer scheduled with Clear Lake 4/18 has changed from 5:30 PM to 5:00pm

The HS B/G Golf meet scheduled for 4/18 at Belmond-Klemme has been postponed. The make-up date is TBD at this time.

Preschool Registration 2022-2023 NEW Little Broncos Three and Four Year Old Preschool Open House-April 20th, 2022 Jacobson Elementary - 1004 7th Street NE 3:45 - 5:00 pm Preschool Registration 2022-2023 Attention - Parents, Guardians and caregivers of all BK area students who will be 3 years of age or older by September 15, 2022 are welcome to attend our Preschool Registration on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022. The Open House will be at Jacobson Elementary from 3:45-5:00 p.m. Come meet our great staff and learn all about our wonderful preschool program! Meet Buddy in Person and get photos taken with our elementary school mascot! 4-year-old preschool is free, but space is limited. 3-year-old preschool requires tuition, however, scholarship applications are available upon request on a first come, first serve basis. If you cannot attend registration, please call the school at 641-444-4300 to have a packet mailed to you or stop at the school office anytime!

The HS Boys track meet at Hampton has been canceled for tonight (4/18). There is no make-up date for this event.

The B/G Golf meet scheduled at Forest City has been rescheduled for 5/6 starting @ 4:15 PM.

The HS Boys track meet scheduled for 4/14 at Knoxville has been canceled. There is no makeup date scheduled.
