Welcome to the Belmond-Klemme Community School District—the Home of the Broncos. It is my distinct privilege to serve as your Superintendent in a district where every student is truly known, valued, and supported.

Academic Achievement (Learning)
By June 2027, the district will increase the percentage of students achieving proficiency in English/Language Arts, with targeted gains for English Learners and students with IEPs. This work focuses on strengthening instructional quality, improving interventions, and increasing student engagement and attendance. Progress will be reviewed quarterly to ensure a focused and responsive approach to improving outcomes for all students.
Connections (Community Partnerships)
The district will strengthen partnerships with families and the community to support student success and well-being. By fostering clear communication, trust, and shared responsibility, these connections ensure that high-quality instruction is reinforced by a strong network of support beyond the classroom.
Staff Attraction and Retention (People)
By June 2027, the district will strengthen staff retention by improving culture and morale while prioritizing a more focused, high-impact approach to workload. This work is essential to maintaining district stability, as retaining high-quality staff reduces turnover, preserves positive culture, and minimizes disruptions to student learning. Progress will be monitored quarterly to ensure continuous improvement and responsiveness.
