To celebrate Leap Day and encourage reading, 5th grade did Leap into Reading. 5th graders spent their reading class time reading in comfy pajamas with comfy locations. They read picture books and chapter books as well as magazines and comics. Every 10 minutes they took a 5 minute break and had a snack.
