5th graders learners got some hands on experiences this week to aid in their learning.
After 3 days of learning about the wetlands, experts from Water Rocks came to give the students some hands on experiences regarding migration of animals and the importance of caring for our wetlands. One of the fun activities that was done was migration hopscotch!
Later in the week, students participated in Entrepreneur for a Day. In this program, students go to NIACC and learn what it would be like to be an entrepreneur. They also learn many financial literacy skills. They end their day with a tour of NIACC.
