Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians of BK Students!
This is Nurse Holly emailing you with an update from the health office.
BK is seeing an increase of illness amongst students of all ages.
Please take a few steps to help to stop the spread of infection:
1. Encourage your child to wash his/her hands.
2. Encourage your child to cover his/her cough.
3. Please note if a child has a fever, they need to stay home 24 hours after the fever, without the help of Tylenol/Ibuprofen.
4. Please note if your child is throwing up or has diarrhea, he/she needs to stay home 24 hours after the last episode.
5. If your child generally doesn't feel good and they don't have a handbook reason to stay home, please consider allowing your child to stay home to rest.
