Belmond-Klemme Community School District and the BK 7-12 staff and students welcome our new principal, Cynthia Jensen! Below is a message from her to everyone!
Hello to All BK Students, Parents and Community Members,
My name is Cynthia Jensen and I will be the new 7-12 Principal. I am so excited to get to know you all and start the new year at BK.
A little about myself: I have been in education for the past 27 years. I started teaching in a one room schoolhouse in western Nebraska and did this for 2 years. I then taught on the Winnebago Indian Reservation for 13 years. My most recent experience was at Adair-Casey for 7 years and then ACGC for the last 5 years. I started as the PK-6 Principal at Adair-Casey and then moved on to be the PK-12 Principal for several years. 5 years ago Adair-Casey started a whole grade share with Guthrie Center, known as ACGC, with that move I became the PK-8 Principal. I then decided I wanted to again work with Jr./Sr. High School Students solely and I was lucky to get a position here at Belmond Klemme.
Please stop by and introduce yourself. I am looking forward to getting to know all of the students, parents and community members in the near future.
