MRS. HERROLD’S 1st Grade Elf Help Wanted Ad!
Santa needs more elves!
First grade heard from Santa through their class elf, Moo, that he needed MORE ELVES! They created a help wanted application along with Santa and their classroom Elf, Moo. They placed them in the office where anyone at Jacobson Elementary could get one to fill out and return to the 1st grade classroom.
The job application allowed those who were interested in the position to pick which areas they felt would work best related to their special talents!
First Grade students looked over all the applications and determined if each one fell under the requirements given to them from Santa.
1. Be Joyful
2. Good Heart
3. Adaptable sleeping schedule
4. Must fit in size 0-7 (Elf slipper sizes)
5. Work as a team
6. Not allergic to reindeer
All applicants meet all the above requirements except ONE. Unfortunately, many of their FEET were too big! Santa and Moo were strict about this as most applicants who were above 10 years of age wouldn’t fit into the Elf slippers. So, first grade determined, along with Santa and Moo, that everyone under the age of 10 would qualify to be Santa’s helper Elves!
