What's Happening?

Esport members.  Dana Hustedt, the Director of Grandview College Esports program, will be here on Tuesday, March 26th.  We all will be meeting in the LMC during Bronco Pride to talk about the program, learn about scholarships, and receive some tips from someone who established a program from the ground up at a collegiate level.   All Esport members are to attend this program.

Congratulations to Tristan Wessels and Leslie Carlos for earning the Microsoft Office Specialist certification in Power Point! Way to go above and beyond expectations

The Spring blood drive is coming!  The blood drive will take place Monday, March 25th from noon until 5:30 in the B-K gym.  Donors must be 18 years old, OR 16 to 17 years old with a parent's permission. See Señor Sifert for a form.  If you can, please donate to this worthy cause.

The application window to apply to ICN’s Statewide Youth Broadband Advisory Council (SYBAC) for the 2019-2020 school year is now open! Applications will be accepted until May 10.  This is an excellent opportunity to effect change and represent rural communities and schools regarding the importance of Broadband access in the state of Iowa and beyond.  If you are interested in applying for a position on the ICN Statewide Youth Broadband Advisory Council, let Mrs. Morris know.   We will have a meeting to go over the application process and essay as well as answer any questions you may have.  This is for grades 9-12 in the 2019-2020 school year.

Kendra Watne received the Youth Service Award last evening  at the Belmond Community Service Awards Banquet.  The Award is for leadership ability and volunteerism in the Belmond community.  Congratulations Kendra.
